Sara Andrews

Sara Andrews joined Partners HealthCare System as Director of Development in May, 2001 and moved to the position of Senior Vice President of Development, North Shore Medical Center in 2005. In the fall of 2014 Andrews assumed the role of Chief Development Officer for Partners while continuing as the Senior VP for NSMC. In the Partners CDO role Ms. Andrews is responsible for guiding a team of 15 who provide a range of services to each of the system’s individual development offices. Previous positions have included Chief Development Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and senior development positions at Deaconess Hospital, the American Museum of Natural History in New York and Children’s Hospital, Boston. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Ms. Andrews has directly overseen or participated in virtually every aspect of the development function and been involved in campaigns ranging from $20 million to $200 million.

Ms. Andrews is a recent past president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, and has served as a volunteer or board member for numerous community based organizations. She is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston.
