Jeremy Abramson, MD

Dr. Abramson is Director of the Lymphoma Program and incumbent of the Jon and Jo Ann Hagler Chair in Lymphoma at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. He chairs the Cellular Therapy Steering Committee for the MGH Cancer Center Cellular Immunotherapy Program. He is also Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Abramson earned his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and a Masters Degree in Medical Sciences from Harvard Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Abramson’s clinical and research interests are in lymphoid malignancies, including all non-Hodgkin lymphomas (both B-cell and T-cell lymphomas), as well as Hodgkin lymphoma (also called Hodgkin’s Disease), and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). His research involves identifying new targets for therapy in lymphomas and lymphoid leukemias, and the design and conduct of clinical trials of new cancer therapies and cellular immunotherapies in these diseases. Dr. Abramson is the author of numerous papers and book chapters on lymphoma, and lectures widely.
